Personality
Lucia is a kind and gentle individual to whoever she meets, being respectful and using formal titles as well. She comes off as friendly as well, having a tendency to be talkative to those around her. There would be times when she would show a maternal side to her. She doesn't look at the bad in others unless there were those who would cause harm and destruction intentionally, doing her best to find it in her heart to forgive the individual. She does her best to always smile and be in a good mood wherever she goes. During her time in Hydaelyn, the Scions of the Seventh Dawn became her new home and family. This heightens her selflessness, looking after the well-being of her companions before her own. This prompts them to ask her to take better care of herself.
Lucia's Backstory
Lucia was born in Midgar in the world of Gaea. She used to be a human, a normal girl in a normal family. However, she was taken away to be part of an experiment, causing her genes to be demonic. Instead of a demonic appearance, she had looked like a regular human. Yet when she was freed, she had no memories of her life prior to the experiments, no memories of even her parents. She was used and trained to bring about death and destruction despite her affinity for light while being a rival to Night, but the one who experimented on her eventually died. She became friends someone who has worked as a Record Keeper, going to Hydaelyn as Night was nowhere in sight where her adventures made her a Warrior of Light.

Main-ARRUpon arriving in Eorzea, Lucia joined the Gladiator's Guild due to having experience with the blade and due to the lack of power from the results of being experimented on. When she joined the Scions and noticed Thancred's fighting style with his dagger similar to her sword skill, she asked if she could be taught to use her blade the same way without the use of a shield.During the time aiding the Scions and being the "new Warrior of Light," she thought of them as her new family as she held no recollection of her first family.She was deeply concerned when she found out that the Ascian named Lahabrea possessed Thancred, the man who she had considered as an older brother. Away from the Scions, she took time to think and to hope, to hope that there could be a way to rescue him. On a whim, Lahabrea approached her, trying to have her in an angered state only for her to make a promise that she would help free him and what he meant to her. After the events of Praetorium, she makes sure he had woken up before going back to help the Scions in small tasks.

Post-ARRAs she spoke to the Doman children, she was happy, her maternal side showed, willing to answer what questions they had minus her life before Eorzea.She did her best to be supportive and be of comfort as the Scions lost one of their own, Moenbryda. Yet she was not able to do that for too long as she liked Moenbryda as a new friend, someone she easily shared conversation with. Upon being accused of regicide upon Nanamo and the separation from the Scions, Lucia had no choice but escape, her heart heavy and uncertain if she would ever find the Scions or lose the family she was so used to seeing every day.

Main-HWIn the beginning, Lucia was unable to smile and have so much of her happy demeanor as she once did due to the bloody banquet in Ul’dah and separation from most of the Scions.Lucia first mistook Estinien for someone, which was her rival, Night Reischer, for which she immediately apologized and explained. Her reason was that Estinien’s personality much reminded her of Night’s.Lucia considered Ysayle as a good friend of hers, enjoying times of conversation with her. Lucia’s heart was broken when Ysayle sacrificed her life to aid her and the others to get into Azys Lla.During her journeys, she picked up Dancer yet dressed in a somewhat white outfit rather than the traditional starting Dancer gear. The white was a form of indicating her purity.Lucia felt relieved upon defeating Lahabrea when he did not possess anyone as she could not bear to fight him possessing anyone she knew again after Thancred.

Despite the first encounter with the Warriors of Darkness and what troubled thoughts they could have brought, Lucia was relieved to see Thancred again, giving a hug to her brother figure.Lucia had guilt when it came to bearing the bad news toward her companions, especially Thancred when it came to Minfilia and her task. Since then, she kept an eye on Thancred, giving support and comfort when he needed it.Lucia was determined to save Estinien from Nidhogg, knowing how much Alphinaud had looked up to the dragoon as an elder sibling and how that felt.Not once did she feel dislike toward Ardbert and the rest of the Warriors of Darkness, only giving sympathy towards them as she listened to their tale about their home and what they had to do in an attempt to save it.

Main-StBLike the time when Lyse was Yda, Lucia became best friends with Lyse.Upon fighting and being defeated by Zenos, the Crown Prince reminded her of the one who she considered as a brother figure before coming to Eorzea.She felt sympathy toward the people of Namai due to their suffering because of the Imperials. The two who she felt sympathy the most were Isse and his younger sister, Azami.During their time in the Azim Steppe, she became fast friends with Cirina.In addition to getting stronger as a Paladin and Samurai, Lucia also improved as a Dancer. Her training paid off toward the end as she mastered the Kriegstanz.In the Resonatorium, she broke down in a situation of a panic attack after defeating Frodola. It was not until she was outside with the help of Thancred that she snapped out of it. However, the similarity of the facility reminded her of the times she was experimented on and led her to become quiet and not as cheerful and strong as she normally was.At Thancred's "request" for provisions, she went to Ishgard only to find out the truth of traveling there when met with Edmont de Fortemps.

While Lucia wore formal dresses most of the time during her stay in Ishgard, the outfit that she wore upon leaving the Holy See was through the help from Hilda.During her stay in Ishgard, she managed to dance the Kriegstanz in completion, a sign in which it meant of her mental recovery from the horrors of the pastBefore she left Ishgard, she was given a new blade made out of chromite by House Fortemps. The blue portions of the blade resembled to what she normally wore while staying in Ishgard.She left Ishgard shortly after Thancred’s soul was spirited away to the First. However, Y’shtola and Urianger also collapsed due to the summons while she was on her way to the Rising Stones.She rejoined Alisaie for the duration of post-Stormblood yet she was scared and concerned for her companions as soon as they were all spirited away.

Main-ShBUpon seeing Ardbert for the first time in the First, she was surprised at first before feeling sorry for him, opening her heart to become friends with him.When she met Minfilia, she was surprised as to how much she looked like the Minfilia from the Source but still greeted her with a smile.She forgave Thancred despite his apologies for tricking her to be taken to Ishgard to recover from her ordeal at the Resonantorium.She was suspicious as to why Emet-Selch had looked at her long to where it was as if he was studying her. Yet when she asked about it, he only shrugged the question away.Throughout the time of absorbing the Light from the Wardens, Lucia noticed that she was getting worse. However, she did not want to worry the others, so she kept whatever she felt physically to herself. She only wished for her friends to live peacefully if she were to die.She was greatly affected by the Wardens’ Light after Innocence where she nearly broke and change into a sin eater if not for Ryne. The latter, along with Y’shtola, had a choker made to keep the Light in check to not become a sin eater. After the events of Mount Gulg, Lucia wore the choker as well as a white robe which would have symbolized being sick.Lucia had a faint feeling of nostalgia upon seeing the imitation of Amaurot as if feeling that she was where she thought of as home.She felt a wave of sadness through the dungeon stage of Amaurot as she progressed through it, often having tears in her eyes.As Ardbert was about to merge his soul with hers, he gave a farewell to her and wished her the best.Lucia felt that same sadness after defeating Emet-Selch and promising him that she would remember him and all the other individuals who lived so many long ago, finding herself in tears again.Once she was free from the Wardens’ Light, she changed back into her normal outfit as she was no longer worried about becoming a sin eater.
Post-ShBWhile she was in the Source to inform Krile and Tataru, she learned that her trusted companion, Skjold, was missing in action. Not long after, he was found but it ultimately revealed that he was the Ascian, Pashtarot. Desperate to save him, Lucia confessed her feelings for Skjold and the latter revealed the truth about them being lovers in their past lives.When she was told of the well-being of her companions, Lucia began to make it a priority to hasten their return.She was shocked to see Ardbert in the flesh but was then heartbroken to know that Elidibus had possessed his body, having to go be by herself as she shed tears.Even though she was angered by Elidibus possessing Ardbert, she could not help but feel sorry for him during the times that they spoke to each other during the times it was only them.Upon retrieving the stone of Azem, she slowly started to regain her memories of being Azem in her past life.She did not hold any anger or hatred toward Elidibus when she faced him as the Warrior of Light, forgiving him and hugging him after his defeat and before his being gone into the Crystal Tower.
EndwalkerOn the boat to Sharlayan, Lucia stayed outside during the daytime as she enjoyed the weather at sea.

Upon seeing Hydaelyn, she was not sure if she would trust Her after the revelation given by Emet-Selch regarding Her and Zodiark.

She wore dresses in Sharlayan when she was not doing anything so she could blend in.

When she saw the Elpis flower for the first time, she was drawn to it as if it was something that she has seen before.

She grew an instant friendship with Ameliance as she shared a motherly bond with the twins.

When Zenos took control of Lucia’s body, she was scared of what he would find out about her past before she arrived in Eorzea and her deepest fear. Even when she met him again on the moon, she was guarded.

As much as it was necessary, Lucia did not feel right killing Zodiark.

Like the moogles, she found the loporrits cute and openly stated so around her companions.

Lucia was guilty as she felt to blame for bringing about the Final Days, finding herself thinking whether she was capable of saving Hydaelyn.

When she met Emet-Selch and Hythlodaeus, she was confused as to why he looked annoyed with her until Hythlodaeus explained she looked exactly like their friend minus the fact Lucia’s hair was darker and had brown eyes compared to their friend.

She became quick friends with Meteion and Venat who made the same comment that Hythlodaeus did regarding their friend, the current Azem.

When she talked of the present in front of Venat, Emet-Selch, and Hythlodaeus, she was saddened with how Emet-Selch reacted and acted towards her Since then, she promised herself that if she were to meet anyone else in Elpis, she would not say anything of her time.

Before leaving for Ultima Thule, Tataru gifted her a new blade that was blue.

When Thancred sacrificed himself for his comrades, Lucia was almost in tears if it wasn’t for the others reminding her not to fall deep into despair. The reason for that was she still cherished Thancred as an older brother figure. However, when the others gradually sacrificed themselves for her to press on, she had to force herself to do so.

She forgave Meteion upon defeating Endsinger, stating that even though she only saw bad things, there were still good things in the universe.

When she fought Zenos one last time, she told him that she couldn’t hate him and wondered what it would be like if things were different between them.

After the events of Endwalker, she started to remember her time as Clementia, her Azem incarnation. The revelation caused her to become more serious and less likely to smile due to her memories regarding the first Final Days and nearly losing her loved ones in the second Final Days.

Lucia met Skjold through his sister, Manadis, in addition to his affiliation with the Scions. Like the other Scions, she treated him as a companion. Little did she know that she developed feelings that grew for the Rava every time they talked. Yet she only managed to confess her feelings when she refused to fight him when he was under the role of Pashtarot. Since then, Skjold and Lucia kept their relationship a secret due to him being an Ascian and her the Warrior of Light.

Story:
Before joining the Convocation, Clementia was a student of Venat's and as such, she was trained in the ways of the sword and chakrams. Yet she held no nervousness if there was an attempt to try something new. She did not hesitate upon taking the mantle of Azem. However, when she was alone, she had a case of uncertainty as she wondered if she was able to hold the mantle of Azem as Venat was.She held respect for the other Convocation members, even to where she would hold formality of those who have been in the Convocation the longest unless asked to speak to them on equal terms. Having a motherly nature and patience, she grew attached to those in the Convocation and often worried about them if she was not out doing assignments. The one who had been different was the one who had the mantle of Pashtarot, Coeus. Not only she befriended him, but she also fell in love with him. When she travels on behave of the Convocation, she is modest at first, putting the well-being of those around her first before ever introducing herself. On her days off, she would take time to read books while relaxing in Elpis.
